Booking a House Concert

A performance can range from me on the solo acoustic to a fully electrified band.

Set Up a Date

Email me () to let me know that you'd like to host a house concert. We'll set up a date that works for both us.

Sets will run from one to two hours with a short break. The set length can be modified to fit your needs and will determine the cost of the show.

A donation from guests is considered typical for most house concerts. As the host, you can charge a flat fee, do a sliding scale donation, etc. It's completely up to you.

Refreshments are either a pot luck brought by listeners or provided by the host.

Don't worry about the sound system-I'll bring a small PA if needed.

Tell your friends

Basically you are throwing a party and I'm providing the entertainment....Tell your friends. Call, email, mail invitations to any and all possible attendees. A good rule of thumb is to let people know at least three weeks in advance of the show.

Include details regarding such as whether the show is non-smoking, BYOB, pot luck, and the amount of the requested donation.
